Our Projects
The RFF's first project is fundraising to raise seed money to begin renovation of 1st and 3rd Street Park in Newark's North Ward, scheduled to begin in 2009. We need to raise $750,000 which will be matched by city funds in coordination with Mayor Cory Booker's parks beautification project. This park needs to be a place of encouragement and growth. Currently it has been a place where bad influences abound and rundown conditions exist that can lead children down the wrong path. Help us TAKE IT BACK and get things right again. It begins right here, right now.
